Identify Your Visitor
It's important to correctly indentify what kind of flying insect you have at your property. Depending on whether you have honeybees, bumblebees or wasps, depends on how we go about removing them from your property. Have a look at the images below to correctly identify the type of insect you have.
01. Honey Bee
Honeybees are smaller than both wasps and bumblebees and unlike the other two, honeybees make honey! Honeybees swarm and while their natural habitat is tree cavities, quite often they set up new colonies in our buildings and homes.
Bumblebees are generally bigger than both wasps and honeybees and can be categorised by their loud buzzing, lazy flying motion and size. Bumblebees can often be found nesting in the ground and also above ground.
Wasps live in a nest that resembles a large paper football in shape and size. Wasps also have a reputation for a powerful sting and short temper. They emerge in the spring, however nests are rarely visible until mid-late summer.
