Abigail was nominated last year for a high Sheriff of Lancashire Young Citizen Award 2014 and was shortlisted and invited to the presentation ceremony which took place at Lancashire Constabulary Headquarters on Thursday 12th of March. She was nominated due to the conservation work she carries out with us here at the Tree Bee Society of Great Britain and the effort she puts into working with and educating members of the public on the importance of protecting the Bumblebees.

Abigail was Highly Commended at the awards evening which was sponsored by BAE Systems.
